The Chico Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies to 33 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Chico will meet a Vikings team coming off a 55-5 non-league win over River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-1.
The Grizzlies (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Valley ran past River Valley (Yuba City, CA), 55-5, in a non-league contest.
