Rickover Naval Seadragons (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chicago Academy Cougars (Chicago, IL), 24-4 in a league bout.

With the win, Rickover Naval upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Seadragons host Schurz (Chicago, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Monday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Northtown Pumas (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Chicago Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
