River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Chico Panthers (Chico, CA), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Valley upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Marysville (Marysville, CA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Marysville won 36-28 in their recent non-league bout against Placer (Auburn, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Chico will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Hillmen go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 36-28 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, CA).
