Mourning Sharks (North Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Booker T. Washington Tornadoes (Miami, FL), 44-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Mourning upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Sharks travel to Hialeah-Miami Lakes (Hialeah, FL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Tornadoes clash with the Edison Red Raiders (Miami, FL) in a bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Booker T. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
