The San Juan Spartans basketball team (Citrus Heights, CA), was overwhelmed 69-26 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA)
The Thundering Herd now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Camino for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Elk Grove will confront a Eagles team coming off a 43-41 non-league win over El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Foothill (Sacramento, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Foothill was overwhelmed by Center (Antelope, CA), 71-58, in a non-league battle.
