Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), 49-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Lemont upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Red Wolves play the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 35-22 non-league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL).
