The Los Osos Grizzlies basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Mark Keppel Aztecs to 32 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Etiwanda for a contest on Wednesday, January 18.
The Aztecs (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
