Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors (Northport, AL) and the host Pickens Academy Pirates (Carrollton, AL), saw Tuscaloosa Home Educators's basketball squad overcome Pickens Academy by a tally of 41-30.

The Warriors (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Knights go into the test with a 10-2 record.

The Pirates now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Pickens Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 57-25 league win over North River Christian (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
