In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored a tight 42-37 triumph over the Wooster Colts.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 17. Spring Creek will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 63-34 non-league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).

With the defeat, Wooster moves to 2-2 on the year. The Colts host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to meet the Greenwave in a non-league match on Friday, December 23. The Greenwave enter the game with a record of 1-3. Churchill County lost 41-27 in their recent non-league game against North Valleys (Reno, NV)
