New Mexico High School Basketball - West Mesa edges Academy for Technology and The Classics

The West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM), 61-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Del Norte got by Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 69-44, in a non-league test.
The now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Newcomb for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Academy for Technology and The Classics will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Jal (Jal, NM). The Skyhawks record now stands at 5-3.
