In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Austintown-Fitch Falcons basketball team scored a tight 57-54 triumph over the Mayfield Wildcats.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 19. Austintown-Fitch will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 64-60 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA).
