Georgia High School Basketball - Banks County nudges Lakeview Academy

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) basketball squad edged the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), by a count of 67-64.

The Leopards (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against West-Oak (Westminster, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, West-Oak was tipped by Stephens County (Toccoa, GA), 52-42, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harris County for a non-league outing on Monday, December 18. Lakeview Academy will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 65-59 non-league loss to Manchester (Manchester, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
