Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC), 64-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brunswick Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA) to play the Warriors in a VISAA Division IV bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Guardians play the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Wake Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 33-32 league win over River Mill (Graham, NC).
