Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR), 63-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Burns upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Hilanders travel to Imbler (Imbler, OR) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Honkers play the Modoc Braves (Alturas, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 65-48 non-league loss to Fall River (McArthur, CA).
