The Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), 67-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (11-4) will now prepare for their test against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, East Ascension went down by Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA), 60-58, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Glen Oaks for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. Walker will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 74-49 non-league loss to Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
