Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 50-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cougars host University Prep (Redding, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. University Prep lost 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Arcata (Arcata, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Castro Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 68-56 non-league win over Fremont (Oakland, CA).
