Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn Wood thwarted by Cheltenham

The Penn Wood Patriots basketball team (Lansdowne, PA), dropped 42-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA)

The Panthers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield Township for a Suburban One - American battle on Tuesday, December 19. Cheltenham will confront a Spartans team coming off a 90-64 league loss to Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Paul Robeson (Philadelphia, PA). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Paul Robeson beat Maritime Academy Charter (Philadelphia, PA), 86-36, in a league battle.
