The Cheney RVT Beavers basketball team (Manchester, CT), dropped 83-65 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT)

The Saints now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Catholic for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. St. Bernard will confront a Eagles team coming off a 81-46 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

The Beavers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Mighty Tigers come into the Connecticut Technical - East battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Windham RVT beat Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT), 73-50, in a league battle.
