The Clayton Yellowjackets basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Penasco Panthers to 48 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grady/San Jon/House for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
