The Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 73-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wahawks (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles go into the Mississippi Valley outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Wahlert was trounced by Hempstead (Dubuque, IA), 57-48, in a league outing.
The Sailors now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Dunkerton for a non-league outing on Monday, December 18. Columbus will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 81-80 non-league loss to Denver (Denver, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
