In their next game, the Panthers face the Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, December 19. North Hopkins will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 38-36 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX).

With the defeat, Commerce moves to 9-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX) to face the Buffaloes in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, December 19. The Buffaloes enter the game with a record of 11-5. Lone Oak won 56-48 in their recent non-league game against Bonham (Bonham, TX)
