Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Furtah Prep Falcons (Acworth, GA), 70-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Creekview upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Roswell (Roswell, GA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Falcons play the Cherokee Christian Warriors (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Furtah Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 81-49 non-league win over New Creation Christian Academy (McDonough, GA).
