Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA), 61-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crestwood upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Cadets travel to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to play the Go-Hawks in a Northeast Iowa bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Go-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Waverly-Shell Rock won 75-63 in their recent non-league bout against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Riceville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
