Georgia High School Basketball - Effingham County can't hold off River Ridge

The River Ridge Knights basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Effingham County Rebels to 38 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Pisgah Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. River Ridge will battle a Patriots team coming off a 78-70 non-league loss to New Faith Christian Academy (Riverdale, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-9.
The Rebels (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Westminster edged Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
