The The Vanguard School Coursers basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the visiting Ellicott Thunderhawks to 32 in the Coursers league victory on Saturday.

The Coursers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gunnison for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. The Vanguard School will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 74-30 non-league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-4.

The Thunderhawks (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO). The Jaguars come into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, James Irwin was routed by Banning Lewis Academy (Colorado Springs, CO), 52-49, in a league contest.
