The Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions basketball team (Springfield, OH), was overwhelmed 56-21 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH)
The Trojans now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Plains for a Ohio Heritage battle on Tuesday, December 19. Southeastern Local will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 44-19 league loss to Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Legacy Christian Academy (Xenia, OH). The Knights come into the Metro Buckeye battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Legacy Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Dayton Christian (Miamisburg, OH), 60-49, in a league battle.
