The Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) basketball nipped the host Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH), 63-60 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Green Wave (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Lake Catholic got by Mayfield (Mayfield, OH), 79-60, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. Gilmour Academy will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 53-39 non-league loss to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 1-3.
