In Saturday's non-league match, the host Grand Lake Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 68-42 triumph over the Johnson Bayou Rebels.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 18. Grand Lake will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 46-34 non-league loss to DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
With the defeat, Johnson Bayou moves to 0-7 on the year. The Rebels travel to Hackberry (Hackberry, LA) to meet the Mustangs in a C District 4 match on Thursday, December 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 8-8.
