The Hawken Hawks basketball team scored 47 points and held the host SPIRE Institute SPIRE to 36 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran West for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30.

The SPIRE (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland Heights (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Cleveland Heights was defeated by Brunswick (Brunswick, OH), 82-42, in a league contest.
