The Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) basketball crushed the visiting High Island Cardinals (High Island, TX), 73-27 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Vidor (Vidor, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Vidor was trounced by West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX), 67-55, in a league test.
