Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Homer Knights (Homer, NE), 58-17 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lutheran-Northeast upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Pierce (Pierce, NE) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Pierce won 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against Scotus (Columbus, NE)
Next up, the Knights play the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers (Bancroft, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Homer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
