The Hubbard Jaguars (Hubbard, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), 55-33 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Trinidad (Trinidad, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Trinidad was trounced by Coolidge (Coolidge, TX), 88-42, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Callisburg for a 3A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, December 19. Valley View will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-42 non-league loss to Muenster (Muenster, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.
