Ohio High School Basketball - Mifflin can't hold off Lancaster

The Mifflin Punchers basketball team (Columbus, OH), was nudged 54-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH)

The Golden Gales now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Watterson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Lancaster will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-45 non-league win over Ponitz Career Tech (Dayton, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Punchers (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Beechcroft (Columbus, OH). The Cougars come into the Columbus City - North battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Beechcroft held off East (Columbus, OH), 72-63, in a league bout.
