Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX), 63-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Littlefield upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX) to clash with the Cubs in a 3A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Brownfield won 55-35 in their recent non-league bout against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Lubbock Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 65-16 non-league win over Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM).
