The Mather Rangers basketball team (Chicago, IL), was overwhelmed 63-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL)
The Hawks now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Grove for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. Maine South will confront a Bison team coming off a 66-57 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Bison record now stands at 6-4.
The Rangers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Payton College Prep was overwhelmed by Taft (Chicago, IL), 71-68, in a league battle.
