    In Saturday's non-league match, the host Roy Royals basketball team scored a good 57-46 triumph over the Minico Spartans.

    In their next game, the Royals face the Ben Lomond Scots (Ogden, UT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 20. Roy will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Scots enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 72-60 non-league win over Granger (West Valley City, UT).

    With the defeat, Minico moves to 3-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Nampa (Nampa, ID) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-2.
