Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT), 40-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. St. Joseph Academy upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Green Wave host Rutland (Rutland, VT) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Rutland lost 55-46 in their recent non-league bout against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Twin Valley Wildcats (Wilmington, VT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 23. Poultney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
