Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) and the visiting O'Dea Fighting Irish (Seattle, WA), saw Curtis's basketball squad hold off O'Dea by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Curtis improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Emerald Ridge lost 68-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA)
Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Rainier Beach Vikings (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. O'Dea will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 63-44 league win over Bishop Blanchet (Seattle, WA).
