The Ridge Red Devil basketball team (Basking Ridge, NJ), was nudged 48-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Randolph Rams (Randolph, NJ)
The Rams now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham for a Northwest Jersey - American battle on Monday, December 18. Randolph will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-51 league loss to Madison (Madison, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
The Red Devil (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Bridgewater-Raritan edged Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 71-46, in a non-league battle.
