Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host TMI-Episcopal Panthers (San Antonio, TX), 71-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Smithson Valley upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Rangers travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. San Marcos won 91-59 in their recent non-league bout against Victoria West (Victoria, TX)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Ephrata Tigers (Ephrata, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. TMI-Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 51-46 league loss to Prosser (Prosser, WA).
