With the victory, Johnston improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. North Providence will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Wave come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI).
