Flathead Braves/Bravettes (Kalispell, MT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bozeman Hawks (Bozeman, MT), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Flathead upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Braves/Bravettes travel to Helena (Helena, MT) to play the Bengals in a AA Western bout on Friday, January 5. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Hawks play the Skyview Falcons (Billings, MT) in a AA Eastern bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Bozeman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 63-40 non-league win over Helena (Helena, MT).
