Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR), 59-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakeview upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Honkers travel to Modoc (Alturas, CA) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Modoc won 54-52 in their recent non-league bout against Fall River (McArthur, CA)

Next up, the Hilanders play the Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Burns will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
