The Vandalia Christian Vikings tipped the host Calvary Christian Cougar basketball team by a final score of 48-47 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCCSA AA West Region 1 game, on Tuesday, January 9. Vandalia Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.

The Cougar (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC). The Ram come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Tabernacle Christian was nudged by Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC), 49-38, in a non-league battle.
