Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI), 58-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Moses Brown upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Quakers travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to clash with the Sentinels in a Division 2 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Smithfield won 54-30 in their recent league bout against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI)

Next up, the Oakers clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 54-28 league loss to Shea (Pawtucket, RI).
