Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH), 68-24 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Crestview upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Rebels host Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH) to play the Tigers in a Mahoning Valley - Grey bout on Monday, December 18. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Newton Falls won 43-24 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Youngstown, OH)
Next up, the Lions play the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Minerva will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 59-41 league loss to Hiland (Berlin, OH).
