Ohio High School Basketball - Edison nips Firelands

December 16, 2023: Oberlin, OH 44074

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Edison Chargers (Milan, OH) and the host Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH), saw Edison's basketball squad hold off Firelands by a count of 51-46.

With the victory, Edison upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Western Reserve (Collins, OH) to play the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Western Reserve lost 55-34 in their recent league challenge against South Central (Greenwich, OH)

Next up, the Falcons play the Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) in a Lorain County 8 challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Firelands will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
