Colorado High School Basketball - Ellicott trounced by The Vanguard School

December 16, 2023: Colorado Springs, CO 80905

The The Vanguard School Coursers routed the visiting Ellicott Thunderhawks basketball team by a final score of 54-28 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Coursers face the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes (Denver, CO) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 20. The Vanguard School will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Buffaloes enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO).

With the defeat, Ellicott moves to 0-5 on the year. The Thunderhawks travel to James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Jaguars in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks game on Tuesday, December 19. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 0-4. James Irwin lost 51-13 in their recent league game against Banning Lewis Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)
