With the victory, Grand Lake improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. East Beauregard lost 55-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)

Next up, the Rebels confront the South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Johnson Bayou will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Tarpons come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 38-32 non-league win over Northside Christian (Crowley, LA).
