In Saturday's non-league outing, the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) basketball squad nipped the host Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY), by a margin of 61-54.
The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Owensboro (Owensboro, KY). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Owensboro got by Apollo (Owensboro, KY), 65-15, in a league outing.
The Storm now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Union County for a non-league outing on Monday, December 18. Hopkins County Central will clash with a Braves team coming off a 72-58 non-league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Braves record now stands at 4-1.
